There have been a few rumors flying around about the possibility of a new iPad line up, this time looking to be smaller at 7.85"

Steve Jobs expressed his dislike towards the 7" tablets saying "they are too small to be a tablet and too large to be a phone" (exact quote below)

If Apple were to bring out a smaller tablet then they might be able to increase their market and be able to get an iPad in to everyones hands.

On the business side of things it would be a good move, as the iPad would be cheeper and encourage more people to buy one rather than a smaller Android tablet.
But on the moral side, should the management of Apple go against their creators and ex CEOs judgment and thoughts on the small iPad?

What do I think?
Personally I think a small iPad would be good as it gives the buyers a better choice when it comes to buying a tablet and I would buy one if it cost less than €350, which is a possibility. This could also overcome the Economic "law of large numbers" this applies to Apple at the moment, as they are not able to make larger profits than they are already making with the amount of products that they sell. More simply they need more products to make more money and to keep growing at the rate they are now.

"7-inch tablets are tweeners: too big to compete with a smartphone and too small to compete with the iPad,"
