If you enjoyed the video why not share it? You can even leave a comment.... Have you ever been asked a stupid question? or is this your first one? This is a fun way of telling some one to JGFGI (just go f**king Google it) If you are ever asked a really simple or stupid question that you could find out the answer really easily by doing a very simple Google Search, use this free tool to tell the asker to JGFGI.
The site is called 'let me Google that for you' (lmgtfy.com) it is totally free and very easy to use. The site looks similar to Google's home page, with the search bar and all, but what is different about this site is that you can type anything in to the search bar and a code will be generated for you, the code can then be copied in to the URL bar and the site will play back what you typed in to the search bar and then link you to the Google search for that same word/question. The point? The site is basically saying to your stupid question asker that it is not very hard to Google something. Click read more to see how to use it. Java is a programming language originally developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems, (now merged into Oracle Corporation) the first Java programming language was relived in 1995 as part of Sun Microsystems' Java platform. The language derives much of its syntax from C and C++, but has been developed over the years to be able to do more and spread. Now that you have some back ground knowledge on the Java environment, we can look at what it is like to learn it. Being a Computer Science student we are made to learn Java so I have some first hand knowledge on what it is like to learn it from scratch. What should be said is that knowing other programing languages can be useful but not necessary. But it is very helpful if you are a logical person and have good attention to detail. (although it is not necessary) My first Java program was the classic 'Hello World' program, making the computer display "Hello World" class myfirstjavaprog { public static void main(String args[]) { System.out.println("Hello World"); } } This program can then be played with by changing the "Hello World" to what ever you wish to be outputted. The process of learning the basics or Java are very simple and not hard to learn, it is when it comes to writing programs that consist of more than just outputting text that it starts to challenge you, this is where it becomes fun. There is nothing better than the feeling when your program is finished and you click that compile button and it says 'no syntax errors' Click Read More to Read More

I made my first website back in 2009 with a host called http://wix.com this site was very good and easy to use without much background knowledge. The only problem with this was the host was flash orientated, enough said? The second website I mad was with Google. The site was very easy to make but also has some expert functions that you can use too. Of course being Google it was easy to integrate AdSense and YouTube videos. But the only problem, was the URL, it was quite long and hard for people to remember, reducing my visitors. This site is still live, Click Here The third and final website that I have made so far was with http://weebly.com this is been by far the best and most friendly UI I've used to create a site. And it is the one you can see today. What made me change from Google to this was the URL options, as you can see the weebly site's URL is simple and easy to remember, you can also change it very easily. The site has lots of good features for integrating blogs, ads and YouTube videos. You can also edit the HTML your self, for those of you who are more experienced. The host gives you very good tools, like stats on visitors and 'easy to set up' blogs and questionnaires. I also maid a 4th website back in 2004 coding in HTML but this site has long gone :( Website design is something that interests me a lot and I would love to hear your experience with designing websites, I would also like to hear what you think of the lay out of my website, you can leave a comment below or take my Questionnaire. |
